Josh Kroehn (Founder/Director) - Guitar
Josh Kroehn is one of the leading guitar teachers and music educators in South Australia.

Josh’s passion for music developed from a young age: Discovering his Parent’s collection of LP’s and CD’s led to a broad (and at times, eclectic) taste in music.

His appetite for new music fuelled his curiosity to discover different genres, and his analysis of the plethora of instruments that created these sounds drew him into Guitar at the age of 9.

This diversity in his early influences, in addition to his later discovery further afield in adolescence, led Josh to become a singer/songwriter and has shaped the music and lyrics he writes. Josh has released an EP and two full length albums to critical acclaim:

"Boasting a sound reminiscent of greats such as City And Colour, the track showcases the inimitable artistry of Kroehn, and cements his status as one of the country's most promising musicians" - Tone Deaf

Josh has performed at festivals and in venues all over South Australia; delivering live shows where audience members are absorbed into his musical compositions, and his shows are known for expecting the unexpected (unique guitar techniques and tunings).

His talent and commitment soon led him to establish Dream House Music School, a haven for aspiring musicians of all ages. Having taught guitar for over ten years, Josh understands the nuances of music education like few others. His teaching philosophy combines technical mastery with creative expression, empowering students to find their unique musical voice.
Beyond technique, Josh fosters a supportive environment where students thrive, whether they're beginners or seasoned players honing their skills. Josh's expertise isn't confined to the classroom.
As the founder of Dream House Music School, he has cultivated a community where music lovers gather to learn, collaborate, and grow. His vision for Dream House extends beyond teaching music; it's a place where dreams take shape, where passion meets practice, and where every strum resonates with possibility.
